Architectural Projects

Project Name: Effat University New Library and Cultural Museum, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

The project was completed on December 2015. It has Effat cultural museum, conservation areas, library stacks in a silent reading area, seminar rooms, quiet research areas, small group study rooms, prayer area, and a large reading and study area with a café and access to a palm garden. In addition, the gallery space located just outside the museum, will serve to display new creative works by students, faculty, and invited artists. These spaces and entrances had to be designed in a way that accommodates the social expectations with respect to Saudi Arabia culture and while allowing for intellectual interaction.
